Life/form® Auscultation Trainer and Smartscope

The manikin presents itself as a patient without visible auscultation sites

• The instructor selects from a menu of heart and lung conditions by wireless remote control
• The student must palpate to identify correct auscultation locations
• Different heart and lung sounds are heard as the Smartscope™ is moved to different locations on the manikin
• Lung sounds can be detected at five (5) anterior, 10 posterior, and two (2) midaxillary locations
• Heart sounds can be detected at six (6) anterior locations
• The remote control has 100 ft range and does not have to be pointed directly at the manikin or SmartScope™
• May be used for group instruction by connecting to an amplifier/speaker (not included)
