GE Corometrics 259 Maternal/Fetal Monitor

The GE Corometrics 259 Maternal/Fetal Monitor allows you to address every monitoring need for both mother and baby within a single system. It monitors uterine and fetal activity/heart rate, and has enhanced maternal monitoring features including temperature, oxygen saturation, ECG, and NIBP. The GE Corometrics 259 Maternal /Fetal monitoring system includes all the features the provider needs to provide a high-quality birthing experience.

The GE Corometrics 259 Perinatal Monitor provides continuous, direct fetal heart rate (FHR) data with waveform display and printing. It also provides audible and visual fetal heart rate alarms if the FHR is outside of user defined high and low ranges.

The GE Corometrics 259 Perinatal Monitor also assess the maternal well-being by utilizing the integrated GE Ohmeda, Massimo SET maternal pulse oximetry (MSpO2), allowing you to monitor, document, and view waveforms. Patented DINAMAP Super Stat NIBP technology provides rapid assessment data to enhance patient comfort while still retaining reliability. When monitoring twins, independent volume controls helps with transducer placement by allowing both heart rates to be heard at the same time.

The Corometrics 259 monitor is equipped with a color LCD display which provides simultaneous display of fetal and maternal parameters plus the maternal waveforms. On the right side of the front of the unit is the recorder. The recorder prints continuous trends and alphanumeric data on one strip chart. The system is compatible with Centricity Perinatal Clinical Information Systems and other information systems to streamline, capture, and archive patient data.
