ActiGuard – Hydrogel Sheet Wound Dressing is made out of a special hydrogel sheet with a high water content, providing a moist healing environment. Hydrogel Dressings don’t adhere to the wound bed, reducing pain and discomfort during dressing changes. The Burn Gel is permeable to air and moisture vapor, allowing excess moisture to evaporate and the wound to breathe. The Hydrogel Sheet is transparent, allowing the wound to be monitored without disturbing the dressings. The Wound Dressing can absorb up to 3 times its own weight in moisture. A handy ruler is printed on each package for quick measurements. The Latex-Free Wound Dressing is ideal for Stage II, III, and IV pressure ulcers, burns, and skin tears.
