Seymour II™ Wound Care Model is the most comprehensive and realistic patient simulation model of its kind.

This model makes it possible to visualize and understand the differences in wounds.


This VATA model is molded from a 74-year-old patient with the following wounds:

  • Stage 1 Ischial Pressure Injury
  • Stage 2 Ischial Pressure Injury
  • Stage 3 Pressure Injury with subcutaneous fat, slough, granulation tissue,undermining and tunneling
  • Stage 4 Pressure Injury with eschar, subcutaneous fat, undermining, tunneling, slough, exposed bone with osteomyelitis and rolled wound edges
  • Surgical Wound with dehiscence – subcutaneous fat and original suture marks are visible
  • Unstageable Pressure Injury with Slough and Eschar
  • Deep Tissue Pressure Injury
  • Possible Rectal Fissure

 

The unique flexible, life-like material of this VATA anatomical healthcare model permits the placement of dressings for use with negative pressure wound therapy devices without leaving an adhesive residue.
