Alaris Medley 8015 POC Unit – Patient Ready

The Alaris Medley 8015 Point of Care Unit is the core of the Alaris System.  It provides a common user interface for programming infusion and monitoring module. This helps to reduce complexity at the point of care. 
 

The Medley Medication Safety System is a modular infusion and monitoring system designed to provide SpO2 monitoring capabilities and accurate, automated infusion of a broad range of intravascular fluids, medications, and blood products.

• Each Alaris 8015 Point of Care unit can support up to four Medley modules with a single power cord
• Large, easy to read color programming screen
• Programming screen displays drug or IV fluid name, dose or rate and volume infused
• A common user interface simplifies IV administration by standardizing pump, syringe and PCA on one platform
• Monitoring can be added with the Alaris SpO2 and EtCO2 modules, allowing the clinician to automatically pause PCA infusions if patients fall below target respiratory levels
• Color title bars:

• Real time battery gauge display lets clinicians know the amount of run time available for their current infusions
• Back light key pad for programming in low lighted areas
• Module specific parameters are stored for 8 hours when the system is turned off
• Module specific trend data and module specific operating parameters are automatically purged after 8 hours of continuous off time or if module is detached
