The Life/form Female Catheter Model is used to practice sterile technique and proper cleansing procedures before, during and after urinary catheterization.
- Accepts any catheter size 16 Fr or smaller
- Flow of urine through the catheter indicates proper placement of the catheter in the bladder
- Water soluble lubricant should always be used before each insertion
- Catheter must be fully deflated before insertion or removal
