The Philips HeartStart FRx AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) is designed for all on-the-spot responders present in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). The HeartStart FRx AED provides real-time guidance through simple, step-by-step voice commands, and CPR coaching metronome to help guide the treatment of a suspected sudden cardiac arrest. Easy to use, rugged and reliable, it can withstand rough handling and extreme temperatures. Pre-connected SMART Pads II are for both adults and children. Insert the pediatric key to configure the device for the treatment of an infant or child. Every minute counts when it comes to saving a life, and the Philips HeartStart FRx AED is the partner by your side, every step of the way.
